We are seeking a strong Sr. User Experience Researcher to help create a world class user experience for our Clinical and School Assessment products. The Sr. User Experience Researcher will be responsible for conducting high quality research studies in an agile product development environment. They will establish best practices, shape the user testing process of all our clinical products and evangelize the importance of conducting rigorous user research. Our work ranges from generative to evaluative, ethnography to usability.

The ideal candidate will have extensive research experience, a passion for user centered design, an aptitude to work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional team and the ability to thrive in a fast paced and goal driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research on all Clinical products and all target groups, including children, senior and users with special need.

  • Conduct user interviews and focus groups anddelivering actionable user insights to partner teams.

  • Collaborate with content developers, business analysts and User Experience designers to establish efficient and sustainable collaborative process.

  • Prepare task plans and research reports summarizing goals, hypothesis and results, and present results to stakeholders and executive teams.

  • Work closely withUser Experiencedesigners to create user flows, customer journeys and personas.

  • Identify meaningful User Experience metrics and set measurable and achievable product goals.

  • Develop small and large scale surveys and analyze the results.

  • Define and disseminate usability and accessibility standards.

  • Facilitate design sprint and cross-functional groups.

  • Align with corporate goals and exceed objectives.

  • Mentor junior researchers as needed.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in psychology, cognitive science, Human Factors, HCI, or related discipline and 5 years of relevant work experience;OR

  • Ph.D. degree in psychology, cognitive science, Human Factors, HCI, or related discipline and 2 years of relevant work experience.

  • End-to-end experience with all aspects of the user research lifecycle (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, communicating, budgeting research).

Plus

  • Experience facilitating and conduct goal aligning, internal stakeholders activities.

  • Experience with quantitative data analysis.

  • Experience with learning or educational software.

  • Experience with enterprise and/or government users.

  • Experience user testing with young children.

  • Experience with accessibility.
