  • Software Design and Development (80%)

  • Actively participate in the Agile SCRUM process with the team.

  • Participate in the design of systems to be developed.

  • Assist in providing time estimates for software development.

  • Develop the software to meet the requirements and design.

  • Participate as required in design and code reviews.

  • Follow prescribed procedures for code documentation, revision control and system documentation.

  • As assigned, participate as a member of project teams, meeting accepted milestones.

  • Communicate modifications, schedule adjustments and known issues to project management.

  • Software Quality Assurance (10%)

  • Perform unit testing on developed code.

  • Create automated unit tests for use by developers and QA.

  • Work with Quality Engineers to evaluate, identify and correct software defects.

  • Career Development (5%)

  • Stay abreast of industry practices and technologies to be used in the development process.

  • Meetings (5%)

  • Attend and participate in team, department and company meetings.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree

  • Object-oriented development experience

  • 1 years of experience developing Windows solutions using Microsoft technologies

  • 1 years of experience with .NET development C#

  • Familiarity with HTML, XML, JavaScript, JSON

  • Experience with Angular (or similar JavaScript frameworks) preferred

  • Experience with creating RESTful web APIs preferred

  • SQL Server or other database experience preferred

  • Microsoft Team Foundation Server experience preferred
